Posted by: Eddy120876 - 01-23-2016, 03:30 PM - Forum: General Discussion on PINE A64(+) - Replies (8)

Hi guys I heard double booting is possible but has anybody thought about triple booting from a single mini SD card?

Now that the Kickstarter is successful and the boards are pretty much ready to ship, what do you guys plan on doing with your PINE64 boards?

I intend to use mine for an autonomous robot project and I will be posting about it on nanite.co for anyone who is interested in following my progress. Smile

  Congratulations on your successful kickstarter

  Purchasing more after Kickstarter?
Posted by: CanadianIceTech - 01-23-2016, 12:42 PM - Forum: General Discussion on PINE A64(+) - Replies (1)

So i pledged on the Kickstarter, but i may need more in a few months (possibly a dozen). Is there going to be a place where we can buy more at a later date?

  Add-On remotes
Posted by: SkimMilk - 01-23-2016, 11:30 AM - Forum: IR Receiver - Replies (1)

Does anyone know what the different types of remotes can do?

I see them listed as add-ons, but have totally no clue what they will be used for.

BTW, does the pine ship IR ready or that's another add-on that we have to purchase???  Huh

  Duh!

I am not a computer literate person and don't understand much of what is being said here.
I pledged because I needed to replace my computer and the Pine 64+ seemed like a good choice.
I only need internet access for social media and netflix. I don't play games or use photoshop like programs.
I assume the Android system is like my Galaxy phone.
Have I made a mistake in selecting the Pine 64+?

  Gesture Recognition
Posted by: fsa317 - 01-23-2016, 11:15 AM - Forum: Pine A64 Projects, Ideas and Tutorials - Replies (5)

Just curious, how feasible is it to use a Pine 64 (w/ android) to build a gesture recognition / control to play games.  For example, playing fruit ninja by actually swiping your arms (not touch screen).

  GSM and GPS>??

I hope some of the upcoming modules be

GSM & GPS

and if this are going to be directly integrated with the android OS,
so no need to use 3rd party app to manage them Big Grin
and be able to use it with google maps and telephony Big Grin
