Default GPIO PIN state after boot
Posted by: Artyom - 11-06-2016, 12:05 PM - Forum: Pine A64 Projects, Ideas and Tutorials - Replies (13)

PROBLEM: Random pin state (or pin ON) after boot.
can anyone tell how to define the state of pins after boot?

After booting my Rasp PI 2 all GPIO pins are off. After booting Pine64 GPIO pins have random state. Is anyone can help to set GPIO pin to off during the boot process?

This is a very serious problem. For example if you use a relay to control the lighting it's not very scary, but if connected leading pump? It will deflate all of the water and burn in case of failure when starting the main control program.

Hi.

I'm posting here because account creation on the support site appears broken.

I ordered a PINE64 which shipped on the 21st August.

This is the tracking page;

http://www.track-chinapost.com/startems....00005710CN

The destination country is set to United States.

I live in Germany.

The *billing* address is in the USA.  Has the item been sent to the
billing address?

Support registration seems not to be working
Posted by: winterflaw - 11-04-2016, 11:45 AM - Forum: General Discussion on PINE A64(+) - Replies (2)

Hi.

I created a support ticket.

This generated an email for me to supply a password for the support account.  However, hitting "register" causes nothing to happen.

I then tried to actually register an account on the support site.  Same problem - generates the same email, hitting "register" causes nothing to happen.

What is on the Micro SC card that came with the board?
Posted by: clawinus - 11-03-2016, 01:52 PM - Forum: Getting Started - Replies (1)

I opened th Micro SD card that was delivered with the Pine64 board
and saw the following list of files on the card.

Volume in drive Q is BOOT

 Volume Serial Number is 424A-49A2

 Directory of Q:\

05/07/2016  19:22    <DIR>          pine64
05/07/2016  19:22         1,076,704 initrd.img
02/11/2016  16:28               137 uEnv.txt
11/03/2016  15:46                 0 list_Q.text
               3 File(s)      1,076,841 bytes
               1 Dir(s)      39,806,976 bytes free

What are these files?
Why is the SC Card called BOOT?
If I download an image of Linux from Pine64.com to install it
on the SD card, must I first delete those files and format the SD Card?
