Does the ROCK64 support CEC over HDMI?
#1
Hello,

Does the ROCK64 support CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) over HDMI?  CEC allows the SBC to turn a connected HDTV on (and off) over HDMI, change the HDTV's input, and possibly control other functions.

I believe the Raspberry Pi has CEC support.  While I have never used CEC on a Raspberry Pi, I do have some project ideas in mind.

More info here:

Thanks!

Yes. It already does work on Android, but controls to support that on Linux are also present: https://github.com/rockchip-linux/kernel...nable&type=. We may need to upgrade libcec to support a new device, but I wonder if exynos compatibility layer would not work OoB.

I can find the cec function in the hdmi settings. but unfortunately they turn off automatically after turning on. I used the cec function under LibreElec Leia of Raybuntu but this operating system is absolutely unstable and does not work as required. for my purposes, only the android of ayufan currently works properly. Thanks a lot for this. the more I would be glad if the cec problem and one or the other bugs could be solved. I also regularly experience a loss of network connection via the RJ45 socket. if I unplug the cable and insert again the connection is immediately available again but unfortunately not constant. I use the regular android 7.1.2 root version.

thanks again for your great work and keep it up. I will test your pre-releases today.
