Lockscreen buttons stop working

Hi guys

I got my PP today and I managed to login using the default passcode (123456). But sometimes it happens the lockscreen is stuck. I can swipe it up but the buttons to enter the passcode seem not to respond.  Can I fix this somehow? Because I can literally don't do anything now..

Power off/on with the power button; hold it at least five seconds.  The same solution works for when the numeric unlock buttons are "wonky" when entering the number after being pressed.
