Help with high voltage power supply setup for electrospinning?
#1
Hi everyone, I am starting with the electrospinning technique and I have doubts with the the high voltage power supply setup for this technique. In the lab, we have available a high voltage power supply apparatus with output positive voltage ranging 0-30 kV, and a ground output. Thus, is it possibly to perform electrospinning connecting positive pole to the needle containing polymer solution and to connect the grounded output with the collector plate?

Thank you very much and I await your response,

In my opinion, it is ok and cannot cause any problems.

Thank you very much and I await your response,

Can the electrospinning setup be effectively configured by connecting the positive pole of a high voltage power supply (0-30 kV) to the needle containing the polymer solution, and grounding the collector plate through the grounded output? Are there any specific considerations or precautions for this configuration?
