Manjaro/Plasma Mobile, Lock Screen issues after update

A few days ago, after installing the updates found from the Discover store I rebooted and found that my phone's lock screen will not bring up the on-screen keyboard. I now have to use a physical keyboard to log into the phone.

I just now got a chance to flash the latest nightly of Manjaro/Plasma Mobile from May 2, and the issue still persists. Is this a known issue?

I have the same issue... manjaro plasma... after update...
getting around by connecting the power/charger cable connected or as a convergence device with power,USB mouse,keyboard,external display connected.
Mobian (unupdated on a SD card behaves), so does older download of manjaro plasma on SD card(I used jumpdrive to install manjaro plasma on a original phosh pinephone which was functioning well till the last update.
once logged-in, it functions normally(loses GSM modem connection after 10-15mins)
Reproducible problem on every boot... will try to look into it later(busy due to current pandemic calls)... usable as a convergence device at present.

flashed Arch linux - phosh...
every thing works like a charm... so far...
much faster... incl firefox(with good scaling too)
