New Zealand network providers mobile data

Hi there,

I just want to know if anyone in nz has successfully connected to mobile data and what provider it was with.

I have not been able to edit the APN this may be due to my inexperience.

The error message that shows regarding the mobile data is...

Modem (quectelqmi_0)
The modem shows no carrier


The phone does connect to a carrier and I have successfully made a phone call, I have not yet however managed to get cell data working

After remembering that the hardware switch was turned off, I switched it on - the network then turned on, found 4G, downloaded the APN settings (automagically), and got going. I sent this message using Mobian, on (Vodafone) mobile data

since posting this thread i have tried all major mobile providers.

2degrees
vodafone

results are that they all work. for data, calls and sms. the mobile data is not reliable, but it does work. i wil post more detail of my experience later as im using the Pinephone for this forum post and dont want the connection to drop.
