PinePhone BE & Pinebook Pro shipping update thread

I just got my email from DHL this morning to receive my Pinephone on Monday the 26th of April to me in the US.

I have an email from DHL saying delivery tomorrow, quickly followed by one asking for 44.53GBP for VAT and import costs (to UK).  I've paid that unexpected amount (as I understood that a Polish VAT amount was included in the listed price) and hope to see it tomorrow.
Just helping others to get the feel for what happens in reality

Orders to the UK ship from Hong Kong and are a subject to import tax. The EU warehouse services only EU member states.

I received the email that my PinePhone BE shipped two days ago (4/20), however, as of today (4/22) the tracking says
"Unknown" This number can't be found at this moment. It's not available in the carrier's system yet. Please check back later.

It also says the carrier is USPS not DHL like others have noted. A friend of mine ordered the same phone on the same day as I did, got the email that it had shipped on the same day as I did, lives not far from me. The friend's carrier was DHL and delivery is expected today (amazingly fast, so that's cool). 

Any insight about mine still showing as "unknown" in the system would be appreciated.

Consider yourself lucky, I haven't gotten an e-mail on the delivery. But then again it's probably because I live in the shit hole of Canada. Luke did say within the next four days and it's only been two now so I don't want to get ahead of myself. Most likely the e-mail I'll get is how the border customs has it and it'll sit there for weeks. Canada is a fucking mess.

Just got mine  about 20 minutes ago and in the process of updating it.

edit: I got the regular 2gb version and it came out to 174.99 (Phone 149.99 + 25.00 shipping)

For those of you in the EU - still not clear to me if phones from the EU warehouse ship now or in a week or so. Just a heads up.

Update 4/23: ..the tracking link in my email went to www.17track.net which was the wrong shipper. They sent me a link to where is should have gone track.4px.com/ and my shipment is there and it currently says "Depart from facility to service provider". Great communication from the Pine crew...thank you! What I am curious about now is...why my friend's phone was sent via DHL and mine is going USPS. There is no option to choose carriers when you check out at purchase. My friend got the phone in 2 days and mine will probably take  much much longer. Not a big deal, just a curiosity.

Not sure if it's the case here it could be that DHL isn't actually active in your area.  I have had orders from other vendors that ship DHL and USPS handles physical delivery.
