The one I got is exactly the same size/fit as the 2nd photograph on post #11 (https://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?...9#pid65409). Mine is slightly offset as I hadn't turned the screen on to ensure it was centered properly , otherwise looks the same.
Pinephone v1.2 UBports CE. Adelaide, Australia using Amaysim SIM (Optus network, VoLTE enabled) with Mobian SD card. VoLTE working also with Felix / Vodafone AU and Aldimobile / Telstra AU.
Manjaro Plasma Mobile on EMMC.

I also used an iPhone 11 Pro Max screen protector (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FP41MC5). I took a Dremel to the bottom of the alignment case so it would fit the PinePhone and used it for alignment. Fits perfectly, but I got some plastic dust along one of the edges of the protector (grr). I'll eventually redo this at some point, but not too bothered. Might at some point model a proper alignment case for the PinePhone specifically instead of relying on the cut up iPhone one.

I just removed the plastic one that came preinstalled on my Manjaro CE Pinephone and put on the glass one from the Pine store. The screen looks much better now (no more of that grainy look) and it feels also more responsive. No idea how the new screen protector compares to third party ones, but it's definitely worth replacing the preinstalled one! |
