I thought I followed the instructions correctly and attempted to flash the emmc with an image and after I thought it was finished and I tried to start the phone it fails to start. I don't get a green light or anything.
What can I do?
Reboot with the jumpstart sd card and reflash again. Very rarely people have bad flashes.
If it's easier you can use balena etcher, or any number of other flashing tools to prevent any possible misstypes with dd.
It was the flash drive image that didn't take.
I reflashed it with etcher and it now boots to the flash drive.
What command do I use to flash it to the emmc? That is where I must be doing something wrong.
I was trying to do it from the phone itself.
OK I used etcher and reflashed the sd card.
It now boots to the sd card with the jumpdrive is running screen.
What do I do now to flash it to the emmc?
I tried what the post here said and used etcher to flash it to the emmc but when I start the phone without the sd card in I am at the same screen as when I have the sd card in.

Boot phone with jumpdrive sd, connect to the PC with USB cable (mine always need to be disconnected and connected again before the sd & emmc show up), run etcher and it will show 2 devices: sd & emmc. That's all there is to it!
You say same screen as SD when you boot from emmc. What screen?
It's the screen that says
Jumpdrive is running.
It doesn't boot to the os
You have to do the next step from a PC. Run jumpdrive from SD on your phone (it will just show that screen, it doesn´t boot to a graphical desktop), connect to (Linux) PC and run Etcher on that PC. Write whatever image you want to write from PC to phone with Etcher.
Remember that the phone boots from the SD card in preference to the eMMC - this means that if you've got jumpdrive on the uSD and use it to flash the eMMC you'll need to remove the uSD before it'll boot from the eMMC.
