*UPDATE* First Impressions of Release 20160303 and App Compatibility List

How did you get a proper install? My board is having weird issues; internet connects, but opening a website never completes. Not able to connect a googlr account, which fucks with everything.

Same board here, 2Gb ram, no Wi-Fi, No Bt

I dont have any Network connection, No Ip-Adress.
PINE is connected to a Gb Switch.

Any Advice how to get LAN connection?

Not sure I had no problems writing the 20160216 img to my microSD card and my network connection seems to be perfectly fine. My pine is connected to my gigabit network and I used the Emby app to stream 1080P mkv's stored on my HTPC and they played fine no buffering or stuttering. I haven't really had a chance to test Kodi out for streaming anything yet because I haven't figured out how to access my movies in Kodi. Not really a Kodi fan, more of an Emby fan.

Could you create an image using Win32DiskImager from your sd card (after unlinking your accounts, of course)? That way we could just write your sd card.

Spotify wants to be in portrait mode on my TV and it's quite ridiculous trying to access the app that way.

Launcher3 and SystemUI constantly crash, tis a shame. I'm not sure why there isn't anything newer, this last OS drop was 2 months ago.

Android image is pretty much unusable at this stage. There's no HDMI CEC and the apps, systemui and launcher3 is always crashing. I wonder how they managed to even give a demo without it crashing...

Did you try rebooting or relaunching Spotify? Some of the apps I installed, on first run they start up in portrait then on second run they switch to landscape.

When I tried Spotify the sign-in "page" of the app was in portrait but when I had signed in it went back to landscape.

I allso tried some games earlier today (Prince of Persia Classic and Carmageddon) and they both worked smoothly (as smooth as can be when controlling with a mouse and keyboard).
Personally I'm waiting for the rooted 5.1.1 image to be released (promised this week) so I can hook up my PS4 controllers to the pine and start some serious gaming

Does Android come with the Play Store installed and is there a overscan issue in Android?

Yes Play store comes pre installed but you have to update the play services. I'm not noticing an overscan issue although I'm outputing it to a monitor and not a TV.

Thank you very much for the feedback you provided about the specific apps! 
Personally speaking, you hit a soft spot of mine reporting that TinyCam Monitor runs smoothly as I'm going to use one of my boards as a NVR.

Could you also please check if ''IP Webcam'' is working as well? I know that there is no UVC driver yet so connection to USB cameras in not possible, but I'm curious if the board can execute the specific app. If it does, then I'll just have to wait for UVC capability and I'm done.

I did install it but have no idea how to use it. I did click on some of the menus and some force closed the app other menus functioned normally I guess. Hope this helps.

I suspect/hope that you got the occasional errors which subsequently forced the app to close due to the absence of the UVC driver. The app can't detect any camera (no USB camera nor the Pine camera module) so it sounds reasonable that the service is forced to close , while navigating in some specific menus.

Allwinner engineer currently is porting the UVC driver from their stock library over to Pine A64 Android build, our Android team will get the driver on next week and hopefully will release on first week of May.
