using PINEBOOK Pro M.2/NGFF NVMe SSD Interface Adapter

Hello
I would like to know why is this NVMe interface is only for pinebook pro ? (https://store.pine64.org/?product=pinebo...ce-adapter) I know this laptop is using a modified rockpro64 board, but what differences do they have ? thank you

I've actually ordered one of these riser card extenders to see if I can mount the NVMe adapter card differently... as then I can think about putting the rockpro64 in a case...
