Sorry for the delay... have been fighting with bluetooth all afternoon! Wink

I'm presuming this is the sort of pic you wanted? If you look at the markings on the board, they match the order of the wires... + (positive) is the red one on the left, and - (negative) is the one on the right. The middle one (yellow) is the thermistor, or a 10k resistor connected to GND if you have a battery without a thermistor.

If you wish to use the connections on the euler bus (as they are a more practical 2.54mm header connector), you can connect to these pins. Just be warned, just like with the battery conector, you can't put this backwards without releasing the magic blue smoke! Sad
Thanks, I will try again to see if this time i dont fry the board. By the way, what about using a couple of 18650 li-ion battery cells. Would it work? with four of those we would have a very nice battery time wouldn´t we?

As long as you use them in parallel (all positives connected together, all negatives connected together), then yes, that would work. As the batteries are never perfectly matched or balanced, I would recommend you use batteries that have protection circuits on them, or add some (they're really cheap on ebay). This will ensure that no single cell is under or over discharged. This may be being over-cautious since when the cells are paralleled up they are effectively one battery, but it just prevents any nasty things happening, and at around $1 a board, the protection circuits are worth that extra peace of mind!

Hey guys I have a bunch of 185650 and a artery pulled from my old Nexus 7 that is 4000+mah
But I'm connecting the leads of the battery to the connector and I have a termistor between the middle pin and ground but nothing happens and I measure the voltage across that circuit and its no more than 1.5v
But the battery is fully charge
Any ideas of what's going on

BTW I have tried that jumper in battery and normal mode

Hi ,
do i Need a 10k or a 100k Thermistor for the Battery
I want clue one on the Battery and connect it to Black (-) and the Yello (middle Port)
With the wrong Thermistor the Pine get incorrect values and whould not Charge.

With the default register settings for the AXP803 the NTC should be a 10k type. The datasheet suggests Murata NCP15XH103F03R for example.

Hello I'm in France so I can't order the battery from the official store so I was wondering is this battery would be compatible ?
https://www.amazon.fr/vhbw-Li-Polymer-Ba...7V+8000mah

And would the connector be compatible withe be Pine64 :

The battery seems fine looks to be fine... it is the right voltage (single cell, 3.7v) and chemistry (lithium-ion polymer).

Those are the wrong connectors though... you want the the 3 pin JST-PH type connector. From that same site, these are the correct type: https://www.amazon.fr/ensembles-Micro-connecteur-Fiche-150mm/dp/B01DU9OY40/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1500006533&sr=8-1&keywords=JST+PH+3+pin

Pine64 has designed a Lithium Ion battery holder case and also design in protection circuit. Here is the PINE64 store link: https://www.pine64.org/?product=lithium-battery-casing.

You can source the 18650 Lithium Battery locally and you can install 1-3 pieces.

Can the battery holder case fit Inside the playbox enclusure ? https://www.pine64.org/?product=pine64-p...-enclosure Because I'd like to make the Pine64 fully portable
