Performance question - Rock64 vs A64+ vs RPi 3
#11
Don't forget:
The RPi3 uses old, slow DDR2@900 RAM.  The ROCK64 uses DDR3@1600.

So, thermals do seem to have an effect on efficiency (unless its something else I missed). I changed the heatsink to a lower quality one and now my geekbench scores are as follows:

single 539
multi 1407

Will put a fan on this thing and see what happens next

Thanks.

Generic benchmarks are higher for Tinker Board's SOC. That said, the Tinker Board has some serious issues.

On video playback performance, RK3328 is better. RK3328 can handle HDR and RK3288 cannot.

On HD audio passthru, RK3328 able to handle smoothly and RK3288 may not.
