Can you explain why below sfdisk parameters specified use the same start position for system, cache and data?

echo "Partition table..."
cat <<EOF | sfdisk "$out"
$((part_position*mbs)),$((boot_size*mbs)),6
$(((part_position+boot_size)*mbs)),$((system_size/512)),L
$(((part_position+boot_size)*mbs)),$((cache_size/512)),L
$(((part_position+boot_size)*mbs)),$((data_size/512)),L
EOF

sdcard_image pine64_android_7_1.img.gz doesn't generate a valid image !

Hi, when I download the 0.2.3 , burn the image with Win32DiskImager on a 16gb SD and insert it in my Pine64 1gb, nothing happens. In other Android releases, at least my TV sees the HDMI connected. Am I doing something wrong? My goal is to use Kodi 17 + HDMI + CEC. Should I use another build?

Hi ayufan.

Unfortunately the android-7.1-pine-a64-pinebook-v0.2.3-r9.img doesn't boot on mine Pine64-1GB Sad
I tried Win32DiskImager and Etcher with same result and what's most weird I found out is that Windows sees microSD as FAT formatted, though if I write working image it sees the card as unformatted.
Could you please help me to figure out what could be the reason?

pinebook image is for pinebook, not pine64 board. that's what i read a couple weeks ago, anyway.

All the images that have 'pre-release' written next to them are beta images! The stable ones below are marked with 'release' ... you can use the pre-release images but then you have to check out the sources and submit bug fixes to ayufan too :-)

Hi, I can't get the LCD to work, using the 2GB pine64.

I set screen0 to "lcd" and mode to "screen0" only. When I power up the pine, the LCD lights up a few seconds later then everything instantly shuts off, pine's power led turn off and LCD is totally black. (compiled from clean sources, and the image works correctly on HDMI with screen0=hdmi)
Is there any logging somewhere to see what happens ?

There are a ton of threads for this. Not only are they sending some updates the kill the build, it also could be something as simple as your power supply and how your attaching it to the board....

My LCD worked fine with the old builds, but I will give a try with 5.1 image to be sure that it's not a hardware fault.

Edit: okay looks like my lcd is defective, I just discovered that I have to touch the GPIOs with my hand to turn on the display, touch-layer is not working at all
Edit2: the ribbon cable of the panel is actually cut on one side, probably the backlight part
