So far this is the best build of Amrbian I can find. I tried building myself, but I run into a couple of issues. My builds seem unstable. I get micro stuttering and am not sure where to look to debug. I can only seem to build with 6.11 kernel. 

This image was solid. I had a bit of trouble on first boot where it wasn't starting the first time boot setup, but after that I really havn't had a major issue.

I am a novice at this but have built amrbian for a number of boards using their build environment on git. Building for the original pine64 has worked great for me. 

I wanted to try this out with KDE or xfce. I guess I could just install the other desktop environment and change it.

Have you, or has anyone, tried getting the MIPI DSI lcd working on any of these builds?

I do not know, I do not have such equipment for the test.
