HDMI CEC on Android

Hi ayufan,

i just installed your android image purely for the HDMI cec support from my samsung tv, the Pine 64 device does not show up on the device list on the TV. is there something i need to do additional?

It works for me, it may not work for you since not all TVs are supported, because I lack the devices to test.

For such cases it's helpful to have logs.

Hadi: On Kodi it works?
You didn't say which app(s) you tested

The HDMI-CEC is generic driver for Android, it works everywhere where normal Android controls do work.

Oh Thanks i just sent you an email sorry about that, yes i do have a Kodi installed too, but the HDMI cec doesnot work on either on ATV or Kodi. is there a driver or something that needs to be installed?

can you send me steps to use and deploy via the command tool?

hadi: nothing else needs to be installed, it needs to be tested and improved to support more devices

I'm here with Android TV 7.1 0.3.13 on Rock64 with TV AOC Le42h254d, and HDMI-CEC is not working
