Edit Reason: update: received it; paid tax
)
My experience (so far) with shipping to Canada, in case it's helpful:
Destination: Toronto
December 16: ordered
January 20: shipped
January 30: last tracking update on 17track.net ("Genève 2 Letter Transit, Departed transit country")
February 21: found letter (dated Feb 18) in the mail from Canada Border Services Agency asking me to email them a receipt or other supporting documentation.
I just forwarded CBSA the receipt I got from sales@pine64.org. Fingers crossed.
Update Feb 28: I picked it up from the post office. I paid $25.62 tax (GST) plus a $9.95 handling fee when I picked it up. (It would have been delivered yesterday but I was not home.) It looks like the tax is based on the value I reported to CBSA by email.
