I've been finding that my modem just disappears occasionally, every day or so.  To fix it I have to type in:

sudo systemctl restart ofono
sudo systemctl restart eg25-manager
ofonoctl poweron
ofonoctl online


I wonder if typing ofonoctl online in the terminal would get you back in business?
