I did check slarm64's changelog before asking this 
-- just noticing that on may 8th, both a 5.12.2 kernel image, and a 4.4.268 image were provided (thanks), and was wondering if there were specific slackware native or 3rd party packages that still needed older kernel to build properly, and if so which ones they were -- just out of curiosity (I give thanks that I'm not a cat).
