Until recently MMS was in a similar situation to (W)CDMA - the hardware was capable but the software didn't exist. Since then a few people who see MMS as a necessity have been working on it, and there's some basic software available and actively worked on. It's worth looking into what's needed to make the CDMA side work - it may be simple but not implemented simply because the dev doing that bit lived somewhere that didn't use CDMA so had no use for it or couldn't test it.

No Voice or Text on Inland Cellular (non-MVNO) but Internet Data Works!
