I just tried updating it on my PBP from the May 2020 batch. Right now I have a bricked keyboard (ANSI) and trackpad. Not sure if this is an isolated issue or if I should not have tried on this version of PBP. 

I’ll be trying to fix it later tonight. Anyone know how I can flash the old firmware back?

Okay, I was able to fix it by running the updater in tty and doing a full shutdown (not reboot) after steps 1 and 2. Trackpad seems to work a bit better than it used to.
