I installed Ardour, CALF Studio plugins, and Noise repellant on my Pinebook Pro running KDE Manjaro. I am very impressed with the Manjaro store. It set everything up and built all dependencies for me. I did a test session getting ready for a gig I have coming up. I was able to get the buffer set to 256 with 3 periods and avoid xruns. I am using a Scarlett 18i20 interface and aClarette Octopre connected via ADAT and BNC Wordclock. I successfully wrote 18 tracks to disk for 1 hour without errors. That being said, I've found out that if I click "analyze exported audio" when I do an export I get crashes, but that's an Ardour question. Anywho, I'm super impressed and very pleased. It's such a sweet professional look to record onto this machine. With my nvme, I'll have plenty of room. I do feel like I want to get a cooling mat. Throttling could kill a recording session.
