The rock64 needs up to 3A when you have stuff plugged into the USB ports.
As for HDMI, are you using a monitor or tv? Monitors can be a bit iffy if they or DVI adaptors send corrupt or blank EDID. I have to force my monitor to 1080p to get it to work reliably.
Thanks for your quick reply. I bought 2 new power supplies, both rated at 5V/3A. I've tried the board against 3 different (old) monitors. Two of those require an HDMI to DVI cable; the other is a pretty old TV that's at least got an HDMI port. I'm seeing the same results in every case. The LEDs light up on the board, but there's no video signal. Maybe I just need a newer monitor?
