I signed up on July 25 (my birthday incidentally), received no confirmation email, when I couldn't find it, tried to sign up again, and it said I had already signed up.

I understand delays, but I'd like confirmation if I'm supposed to have it.

Did you check your spam folder? 

And even then it'll likely be a few weeks before you get the coupon to actually order.
