I turned my phone (which acted as an internet modem only) permanently off about 2 months ago and probably will throw it away for recycling.
A year before that I couldn't depend on it as a phone (it worked somewhat ok only for a brief period). Calls developed audio problems (probably new software bugs at the time) and 4g modem restarted and didn't receive calls. I switched to a mainstream smartphone with more support.
I think Mobian dropped support for the phone at some time which can explain some of the issues I have experienced, but I'm just too used to debian-style distros to try other options and now my decision is already made.
