SOLVED: New PineTab2 not booting properly. SECONDARY PROBLEM SOLVED: Not updating

Not Updating Solved.
TLDR: The repository servers shipped with the factory
danctnix image are out of date, preventing system updates.
The referenced repositories were out of date in /etc/pacman.conf
It shipped with Server = https://p64.arikawa-hi.me/$repo/$arch
I changed it to Server = https://archmobile.mirror.danctnix.org/$repo/$arch
after this it started working a little.
after this, [core], [extra], [community], [alarm], and [aur] were set by:
Include = /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist
In /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist, the default Geo-IP based mirror
selection and load balancing server was:
Server = http://mirror.archlinuxarm.org/$arch/$repo
This server location was giving me errors and preventing updates as well.
I commented it out and un-commented one of the servers for my country,
in this case the california server in the US.
after this I was able to update the tablet.
