I'm using the Woodpecker from Pine64 store:
I've connected it to USB 2.0 port of Raspberry Pi 4 (model B) and (of course) to the pins of UART2 of the Quartz64. I'm also using the program picocom.
As a side note: there was a brief thread recently where another user also mention he had trouble with UART connection on some distribution: https://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=17131
When I have more time (in a week or so) I'll try what the previous user mentioned - building an image from your repository and see what happens.

Quote:Have you tried changing the contents of SPI before ?No, and I don't know how to do that. I don't have experience with embed hardware. Using the serial console on Quartz64 was my first time.
Quote:What other Linux versions have you checked before, what does the UART console show with them?Last year around this time I've used an image from Manjaro, booted successfully using the Woodpecker (maybe I changed baud rate manually again) and ran some benchmarks, then set the network interface and the ssh daemon. I've since deleted the image file and couldn't find the working version again after several tries and downloads of images.
