Which image exactly are you using? What specifically is lagging? Several people reported issues with Play Store and I think some of the issues are slowly being worked out. Check other threads about known issues about Android and see if there is anything similar to what you have experienced. Also, are you using "smart power supply" that regulates the output or it always outputs 2A?
