From your description, seems like not getting IP assigned. But why your router to assign IP to Android build, I have no idea. Try to unplug and plug again the ethernet cable after Android build already boot up and check again whether IP can be assigned. The easier way to know is checking the clock status. If this method work, this means your router somehow not able to assigned IP to Android build during boot up.
Excuse me, I don't know what "clock status" means...
I've tried to unplug and plug it again, but it didn't seems to work, and restarting the router is useless as well.
I noticed that the green LED on the ethernet socket is always on, but the yellow one seldom twinkles.
Maybe I forget to say that Remix OS also have some problem at the beginning. I assigned a specific IP to it and it didn't work either. But after I set the DNS server, it was able to connect the Internet. Maybe I also have to set DNS server in Android, but where can I set it?
If Android and Remix have same issue, then my assumption may not be correct.
But the problem of Remix was finally solved, so I think there should also be a method for Android?
This is the part that puzzle us. Frankly speaking, the Ethernet driver on Android and Remix builds are identical.
Yeah, so I think there should also be an effective way setting DNS for Android. Do you have some idea or can you recommend some useful tools about it?
