howto power hdd via usb3 on rockpro64

Hi,
I am looking what I would need to build a NAS with a large 4tb sata hdd 3,5" using usb3 only

My setup would be:
1- A rockpro64 with 12v adapter
2- A powercable for sata drive  https://store.pine64.org/product/rockpro...ta-drives/
3- an external hdd drive 12v 4 tb 

I do not need ssd speed so using usb3 should work.

4- so  I was considering using the usb3 to sata adapter for the rock64 https://store.pine64.org/product/usb-3-0...with-uasp/

However, it is not clear to me if this usb3 cable is compatible with using the powercable for sata drive of the rockpro64?

Can anybody explain what I need to power a hdd sata drive via the usb port of the rockpro64 please?

You cannot combine both cables to operate external HDD drive, this due to only Sata Cable already occupied both Data and power port. However, if you plan to power +12V to your external HDD (assume is 3.5" type), just plug in 12V 2Aor above power thru the 5525 DC Jack at the side of the Sata power cable.

The problem why I need to ask this here is the incomplete information in the pinestore with regard to sata cables. There are no photos where you can see the pins of the connectors so I cannot see if they connect both power and sata or only part of it.
In the case of the usb3 to ssd cable this is clear, but why don't you deliver a fitting powersupply, since there is no way for a buyer to know what powersupply would fit. 
Another option for improvement of your store would be to publish a howto on "making a NAS for begin to start with rock64 and rock64pro".

Just minor issues of course, but it might help some clueless folks (like myself ).

In the meantime I came up with a new idea:
combine rock64 with an external usb3 casing solves the power problem, something like this:

for a NAS with 3,5" external sata hdisk usb3 on ssd rock64 is fast enough probably. 
Since the rock64 is half the price of the pine64pro, but still has gb network and usb3 (but no sata)  that makes sense.
