debian+phosh running on PinePhone

Am I missing something ?
Well, the hotspot feature certainly needs some love, for now it should be considered "unsupported, you're lucky if it works at all" Wink
Regarding mobile data however I didn't see any issue with it for the past few weeks, as long as you disable PIN code verification. Maybe try turning mobile data off and on again in Settings ?

Don't you have a search field in the "Start chat" window ? If so, enter the phone number here (including the international prefix, like +1 for the US).

But when I try to add the remote Calendars they are not there, when I go to the offline accounts the Nextcloud one I set up has been forgotten? Was able to connect a Bluetooth mouse to the Pinephone which was fun, keep up the great work!
I'll check with a clean build, no problem here with nextcloud, but I haven't done a clean install in a while.
And thanks for the feedback on bluetooth!
Hi guys, just a quick question: to have the updates of the last image published I have forcibly to flash the card with the image or if I run apt update & apt upgrade everything is fine anyway?

Can some tell me how I can access the 'day' view in calendar ? I only see 'week'
Hey, just popped-in to say that I've been messing with the image for the past 24hrs and I am really impressed. Very good job so far.
Quick question - since I haven't had the chance to monitor battery levels closely - does the image include some battery preservation implementations or not?

As far as i know not yet.
But to my mind it's the natural order
full hardware support
->  enable consumption stat
-> battery optimization

That say, i'm sure battery life is very good now vs one month ago.

@bshah got suspend working really quite well (but with bugs) in KDE Neon. I wounder if the same settings for battery preservation could be applied here.

I "THINK" I am on the newest release,  (hard to keep track of the half dozen little mini SD cards floating around here.)

> BUT I have been able to stumble around through the address/contact book and add the name and number and then send a text or call from there.
( kind of the long way around, but it works)

As far as my previous post about the "hot spot" dropping :

I just spent over an hour talking to AT&T tech about my problem, they concluded that I need to replace my sim card...
( IT started off in an IPhone, then the BLU phone, now in the Pinephone )
( On a few of my 'attempts' at getting online, I found myself at the AT&T website and being told, I needed to add data to my plan, but I already have data )

So the tech said to go to the AT&T store for a free replacement sim,  and  *  "DO NOT leave the store until your data works" *

So off to the nearest AT&T store,

apt should be enough (nearly all customizations have been moved to deb packages), but you might need a few tricks to make sure everything goes fine (e.g. check the debian user belongs to all the needed groups -- see the setup-user script on gitlab)
Also, please make sure you have task-pinephone-phosh installed.
Anyway, you can just backup your data, try an upgrade, and go back from a clean install if anything goes wrong Wink

So, when adding a nextcloud account, I had to enter a password for the default keyring to be created, and then confirm it. Once this step is over, nextcloud sync seems to work just fine.
Did you skip keyring creation, by any chance?

For now, Calendar is not really suited to the pinephone screen, unfortunately. You might switch to landscape mode, but I doubt this will be usable on a daily basis...

Cool, thanks @Luke Smile
For now we haven't looked into battery optimization yet, but that'll surely be the top priority once we have every piece of hardware working.

That's good to know, I'll have a look at what's being done there.

Actually, you can, but you MUST write the number with the international prefix (+<country code><number>).
Not ideal I agree, but still better than nothing Wink
Got my Red Pocket SIM today, popped it into 3/14 image and everything just worked OUT OF THE BOX on AT&T 4G. Thank you so much for your efforts.

Now if I can just get Geary 3.36 new "responsive" interface to have responsive account pane. Just can't get a new account created no matter what I try.

Calls, texts, Firefox & Geary and I could definitely use this as a daily driver. So close.

Convergence someday please!!! Holy grail.

I literally spend my working life fighting with users NOT entering an international prefix and I didn't think to try it myself! That's fixed my problem, thanks! Smile
