Yeah! Successfully updated! Make sure to change back to the updater directory after the first reboot or it won't find the updater.

The new firmware improved the keyboard scanning greatly! I can now type at full speed without losing any keys. The trackpad is also much nicer to use. Thanks guys, much appreciated!

Thank you guys for the update, it worked very well, I did change a keyboard setting too which by default was causing me some pain:
Keyboard Preferences -> Accessibility -> [disable] Ignore fast duplicate keypresses I could not hit the backspace many times fast, now with the update and this setting it all feels very snappy
From what I can tell, the system thinks it's a new keyboard and trakckpad after update - so whatever settings were present prior to flashing get lost.
The update went through without any issues for me.
Trackpad certainly feels better now, and no longer blocks key inputs. However, the keyboard still doesn't send arrow keycodes when the Super/Pine key is being held down. Hope it's on the list for the next update.

Worked fine on first try. Thanks for the hint on doing a
cd pinebook-pro-keyboard-updater after the first reboot.

The update also worked for me on the first try.
I also noticed you had to do a cd after the first reboot. The keyboard still worked for me after the first reboot, but the trackpad didn't. Good thing I connected both an external keyboard and mouse. The trackpad is so much better now. Thanks for the hard work!

step-2 fails, so now I have a non working trackpad.
