Pinebook Pro: confirmation of order

Hello,

luckily I got a coupon code after asking for it (btw excellent support from pinebook@pine64.org) and could order a Pinebook Pro.

I only received a confirmation from Paypal for the payment with an order code.
Is there no order confirmation sent to the customer by pine64?
What are your experiences?

I'm in the same boat as you. I should be getting one of the first 100 units. I submitted my request for a promo code on the website before it crashed, received my promo code via email a short while after. My order was placed as soon as I got the code on July 25th. So far I've only received the order receipt from the Pine store and the receipt from PayPal.

In a nutshell, you're not alone. We're all really excited to get our hands on these things. To my knowledge, the first batch of 100 haven't shipped yet. So if you're in a later batch, you might be waiting a while.
