So, I've tried every trick the others could throw at me to get the analog audio to work, but nothing. I can get the analog audio to show in the system preferences and PulseAudio Volume Control AND the meters move that something is attempting to output, but... nada.
So I thought, A-HA, I'll use Bluetooth...except that when I select the Bluetooth Manager (using Ubuntu MATE)... an error dialog "Connection to BlueZ failed. BlueZ daemon is not running, bluesman-manager cannot continue. This probably means that there were no Bluetooth adapters detected or Bluetooth daemon was not started."
I am using the Pine64 WiFi/BT POT. WiFi IS working, but apparently BT is NOT.
When I run through an HDMI cable through a TV, I get sound, both for Android and Ubuntu. But no sound any other way.
Help?
