Android 5.1.1 Image Release 20160711

Just installed the July 11 rooted, Phoenix, Android version and here are a couple of observations.

1.  On my older LCD 1080P 60hz TV, everything was too small.  Had to change the build prop DPI setting to 240 from 160.  Did not have to do that on the earlier version.

2.  Gigabit Ethernet is still not working.  WiFi has taken a hit also, only getting half the download speed from the earlier version.

3.  Some of the apps open up sideways, did not happen in earlier version.

The build prop says it is a tablet version.  Not sure who is building these roms, but they seem to be going backwards.

Getting the gigabit Ethernet to work properly is a NUMBER 1 priority, until that is done, Android is not usable for me.

How did you get to burn a dd image? Every single version of DD image I tried gives me an error that the space on my sd is not enough. Needless to say I'm trying varius sizes sd cards according to the image each time.

One who made the dd images seriously messed up the whole thing. I'm trying 3 hours now to create a working sd of the new build...

I did try that Win32 imager first, installed OK, but would not run. Also, tried the 32gig verion, but like others, the SD card was too small. I was trying with the 32gig version with my 32gig card, using Win32 disk imager. But the Phoenix app works great for me.

The Phoenix application, apparently, sucks (and is Windows only). It's ruined the experience for many. I'm surprised there isn't a script that does a similar thing using dd and parted. Android partitions are weird though.

It doesn't affect me, I'm using Ubuntu, where things are far simpler. I didn't buy this for Android.

Updated android using phoenixcard. It worked well and android is running smoothly now.

However OTA didn't work for me. Maybe me previous version of Android was too old?
