Manjaro as shipped & camera?

Hi,

Just got my PPP and am playing with it out of the box. (As yet with no SIM card installed.)

With the original manjaro version, as shipped, should I be able to demonstrate that the cameras work? (I read of endemic PPP camera bugs.)

The MegaPixel app doesn't seem to find a camera and I d/l an app called 'cameracntrls' which reports "0 Camera found".

Am I missing something fundamental or expecting too much?

Cameras should be working to some degree, Megapixels in its default configuration is only for the regular PinePhone.
