Exclamation
Hello

I updated Mobian Linux about 2 hours ago and now, I lose the network every ten minutes Sad I don't use the power saving mode right now. Be very careful when updating. If anybody has a suggestion, let me know.

In network settings, you could uncheck connect automatically for all networks.

Save settings and connect manually.

Thats wierd because v4.6 fixes the udev rules messed-up by 4.5.  What are your results from running...
Code:
grep -r . /sys/devices/platform/soc/1c1b000.usb/usb2/2-1/power/{control,autosuspend_delay_ms,wakeup,persist}
Did you reboot after the upgrade? Are you using the stock firmware?  Pinephone or Pinephone Pro?

I went back to the September 25th image... it still drops occasionally but doesn't seem nearly as bad

I use a Pinephone, not a Pinephone Pro. I use the stock firmware for now. I rebooted three times after upgrading. Now, I lose the connection less often but it's still problematic. I lost the connection during the night which means nobody could call me in case of emergency. I'm going to try your suggestion as soon as possible.

Thank you very much for the warning!! (Just in time...!)
Using encrypted Mobian (bookworm) on pmOS CE Convergence PinePhone (3GB/32GB) as Daily Driver, and Beta Edition Convergence PinePhone (3GB/32GB) with encrypted Mobian (bookworm) as Backup device.

I do an image backup of the eMMC every few weeks in order to recover if an update goes horribly wrong. I also keep an outdated but known-to-work SD card on hand to use if needed.

I've been having trouble since around the same update / upgrade and finally, dist-upgrade. I tried downgrading to the previous eg25-manager to no avail.

That gitlab is being shutdown in favor of https://salsa.debian.org/Mobian-team .  However eg25-manager is now a debian thing instead of a mobian thing so bugs would need to be reported using the reportbug tool or via email anyway.

I use Ting (a T-mobile MVNO) on my test phone and found that sometime in the last several weeks T-Mobile apparently dropped IPv4 and it caused me problems that sound similar to yours.  See https://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=17552

Maybe your DNS is returning IPv4 addresses even though you have no valid route?

Edit 1: though maybe the fact that your wife's phone still works points a finger in a different direction.

I could not logon to the new salsa site, though it said I could logon w/ a gitlab logon, so I had no other way to attempt to report the bug.

Thanks for your post/!
