So are you going to ask(request) Allwinner to support CEC? I thought from kickstarter FAQ that, you would be supporting CEC from day 1. Please clarify.

It is very likely that a lot of video features got shelved in order to get past some of the issues with the screens they sold.
So will the CEC ever be implemented?

Let's wait and let them get the logistics issues sorted out... then give them some time to work on the software part, then we can complain if they had the time and didn't deliver what they promised.
Let's relax for a while  I know that I've bought a product with development in progress!
As long as Pine64 team can assure that, we will get this feature at some point I do not have a problem waiting.
Let us hope for the best.

I have meet up with Allwinner team two weeks ago in China and pass this request to them. However, I have not received their response yet.

I have meet up with Allwinner team two weeks ago in China and pass this request to them. However, I have not received their response yet.
Isn't there a way to have a better communication channel? Like that, we'll probably have HDMI CEC in 10 years. Allwinner team doesn't seem responsive, we don't have linux drivers for Mali either, I saw in one of your posts that "they're working on that", but have they given any status on that? I pretty much about they'll fullfill that request...
Btw, why have HDMI CEC been advertised if it wasn't ever implemented?

They don´t actually say in the FAQ that it is implemented, just supported

If you buy something that says it supports HDMI CEC you expect it to work, just saying.
