Hi All,
I am new to this forum. I am using 5 rockpro64's as a "cheap" cluster computer for parallel numerical general relativity simulations. Only been working on it about a month. I just installed a Samsung 500 GB ssd (960 Evo) on my head node. I have it partitioned and formatted. It works well. However, now I can't do a startx command from the command line. The system gets to the point of showing the graphical desktop with the cursor in the middle, but then hangs. No keyboard or mouse response. Lights on the keyboard and mouse are on.
If I power off/on then ssh into the system from another node, I can see the that ssd is automounted and I have access to it. I can't think of a way to debug this. Usually I like solving problems, but I don't know where to begin with this one.
Thanks for any help any of you can give.
