TL Lim,
Any other updates with the coming image?
Will Skype calls work? With current UVC driver Skype crashes and I suppose the specific driver needs refinement.
What about compatibility with 720p monitors? USB audio capability?
The compatibility of the 720p will be include on next release. The others items still not yet look into due to we rather focus on bring up Marshmallow build first.
I guess you already made the same discoverys as I did regarding the Android + Ethernet issues, but i still want to point out to the Thread i opened up to show what I managed to discover myself http://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=1358
Basic conclusion:
- The ethernet will not work without the WiFi module attached even though it's not turned on. It might work for 1-3 seconds and get the Time from an NTP server but after that you are lucky if u get even one second of connectivity.
- If the WiFi module is attached the ethernet works fine but as everybody already mentioned in 100mbit.
- It looks like if WiFi module is not attached the Pine is still looking for it trying to initialise it.
