I'm not sure whether to post this on the hardware forum or not, because I don't really understand the issue myself. You'll have to forgive me for my ignorance.

Essentially, I'm wondering whether any ubports/braveheart edition owners have encountered any issues with their wifi modules, besides what's described in the wiki, I guess. 

The reason being that I haven't been able to detect or access a network with my ubports pinephone for a while, now. Not through the phosh settings, nor through iwlist. ip a returns the status of the interface, wlan0, as up and available, but otherwise I can't seem to do anything. I suspected that this may have had something to do with pmOS, what I'd had on my emmc when the issue aros, so I went and flashed mobian onto the phone, too. It seems to experience the same issue. That's why I wonder if it may be a hardware problem. 

And, yes, I toggled the switches on the back, rebooted, etc. 

Granted, it could possibly be a kernel problem, too, or maybe a specific package that both projects use, etc. That's why I decided to make this post: to see if anyone had already encountered something similar. Is it possible for an interface to be visible to the user despite not being functional? 

I'm completely clueless as to how to go about the troubleshooting process. Even on my desktop, I try to get wifi working as soon as possible with wpasupplicant and hastily push whatever I've learned into the recesses of my psyche when I'm done. So if there's any directions that I should follow, procedures, I'll try to do them.

11 inch OG pinebook here on kde neon. 

touchpad works fine, but i have no scroll or tap click function. is that by design? I see that it is recognized as a regular mouse, could that be the issue? not sure if there is a fix or if thats just how it is.

any help would be greatly appreciated

Popups continue until app/Nemo is closed, though it doesn't always occur when using Nemo (was able to browse an external drive without issue, but launching the Calendar app or downloading a file caused the popups).

Popups include Phone Shell Boot_MNJRO and Phone Shell mmcblk2p1

Hi All, I am a PinePhone noob, received it a few weeks ago.

Would anyone know why the battery will not charge past 89%? I let the battery drain to the single digits then fully charged it several times and tried different OSes with no success.

I have tried to update my pinetime with pinetime-updater and a raspbery pi. The script ended fast, without succes.

Now the watch is not starting or loading anymore. It only starts with pin 3 and 4 connected with the 3.3V pin and ground pin of the pi. Then it works fine (screen, bluetooth and gadgetbridge).

Ideas?

I bought this phone as a general call/text basic smart phone, a none-contact-tracing phone.
So, not a Techie, and am starting to learn.
However, 
I booted up the phone and the screen came pre locked with a passcode I do not know.  I can't get past the lock screen.  I'm assuming that this is not normal? Can somebody direct me to what I need to do, or who I need to speak too.

New PinePhone owner here, using the latest Manjaro Arm.

Coming from Android I found that I quickly got used to clicking the notification area or the app tray to open/close, but every time I go to unlock the phone I forget that it's slide to open. I assume it's set this way for a number of reasons, but I sure wish there was a way to change the behavior to a tap to keep things consistent.

I got my PP today and I managed to login using the default passcode (123456). But sometimes it happens the lockscreen is stuck. I can swipe it up but the buttons to enter the passcode seem not to respond.  Can I fix this somehow? Because I can literally don't do anything now..

I would like to disable the passcode lock screen. Takes way to long to access the phone and I have zero worries over 3rd party access to the device.

I have looked around the filesystem for lightDM, phosh, phoc config or settings files in the usual places, /etc and not found them?
