Hello. As the title says I am selling my Pinebook Pro(US keyboard) as well as the emmc adapter and the 128 gb emmc.
Here is the story:
I bought the PBP on summer but it arrived in October 2020. By then I was in university and couldn’t really use it. I really like it and it is very nice to learn and experiment however I am very busy with my studies and can’t use it. I’d like to sell and better use the money in something else. I paid 300 euros for the pinebook pro after shipping and import taxes which are crazy expensive and then I paid 110 for the 128 gb upgrade and the emmc adapter as well after shipping and import taxes. So in total it was about 410 euros. It came to be more expensive than I thought. It is brand new. I barely used it so I’m asking for 350 euros including the shipping. Let me know if interested.

Based on version 24.01.2021 (at https://github.com/dreemurrs-embedded/Pi...h/releases)
with updated modem firmware (from https://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=11815)
Works supprising well!
Installed with Jumpdrive, removed Geary, Lolipop, Maps and Software. Updated daily with pacman.
Some details:
Make and recieve calls : works
Create and send SMS : works
Connect to wlan : works
Connect to APN with modem : works
Camera : works
Issues:
"Deep sleep"
After some time incoming calls stop being notified.
The call is still up and "ringing" in the background, but not notified in a audible or viewable fashion.
Battery:
The battery status is highly unpredictable.
Keyboard:
Even when selecting "norwegian" in settings on locales, format - no norwegian characters available.
View images:
No build in image viewer.
In all, it's working supprisingly well, at this point Arch is a good foundation for further development.
Well done and big thanks to upstream and Arch maintainers.

Hello everyone.
I have a Mellanox 10Gbit connect-x 3en CX311A (with optical fiber sfp+ ubi modules) and I thought to try it on the ROCKPRO64 board.
First off all, all official armbian images 5.x kernel stuck at starting kernel at boot. No errors or anything.
All 4.x kernel images boot fine and the card gets recognized but no drivers available.(lspci ok - no driver)
Now, long story short, I've tried to compile an armbian image - kernel 4.4.213 with mellanox driver enabled as module and I can see the card (lspci ok - driver ok) but it's impossible to get IP address.
Now after a lot of tests I've got the card to get IP address with this image
buster-minimal-rockpro64-0.10.12-1184-arm64.img.xz from ayufan
with this kernel 5.11.0-rc4-1147-ayufan-gbf2a8ef692d2

Now the problem is that the system is extremely unstable.
If I try to download something the system crashes after 2-3 seconds. Sometimes it gets completely freezed but most of the times the card shuts down after this messages:

Also, I tried to install the official drivers from mellanox, I've got an error about dkms config missing.
I really don't know what else to try.
Any help is really appreciated.
ps. yes the card is working fine on any other linux x86/x64 system.

| Phonebook does not link with calls |

Hi all,
Well, that's basically it. When I select a contact from the phonebook and click to call, it doesn't call, I think because the phonebook is not related to the calling application.
Someone else happens? How is it solved?
Thank you.

Today I noticed that the keypad no longer seems to be working during a call for accessing automated menu systems. It was previously working.
Since the last time I tried that feature probably at least a week ago, I've done a few updates via apt-get dist-upgrade. Also today I decided to take the plunge and update the modem firmware. So everything in the phone is at the current patch level.
Anyone else here notice this feature stopped working for them recently? Any fixes?

The green power LED on my Pinephone has stopped working though the phone works normally otherwise. It's been a while since I had this thing apart - are the LEDs integrated into the mainboard? I'm wondering if it could be a loose connection, but if soldered to the mainboard I assume the LED just went bad. It's only a minor nuisance since everything else seems to work OK, aside from the vibrator which I'd posted about previously.
No power light, no vibrator... maybe the battery will last a wee bit longer.

| Anbox: install Google Services |

Hey there,
I am pmOS (Phosh) user and I am trying to get Google Services into my Anbox images.
First I tried to install OpenGApps. I manually extracted the anbox image from /usr/share/anbox/android.img, installed gsfcore-all, gsflogin-all, gmscore-arm64 and vending-arm from ARM64/7.1 pico variant of OpenGApps and then packed it back (you can look here [1], [2] or [3] to get some idea how to do it). It works, partially. I can see the Play Store in app list and start it. But the anbox crashes every time after about one minute - does not matter what I run, F-Droid, Play Store, or just settings.
So next time I tried to microG project. There is some info on this forum here. Unfortunately, after this patch the anbox does not run at all. My personal guess is that services.jar are for x86.
Have anyone of you had better luck with these?
