| How to use an NVMe disk as rootfs |

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and just got my hands on a ROCKPro64. I came across the suggestion about using an NVMe disk as rootfs, but I'm a bit confused about the process. Could someone provide a step-by-step guide on how to set this up? Specifically, I'm interested in any prerequisites and potential pitfalls to watch out for. Thanks in advance!

Hi, I've had my pinebook pro for a few years now and for the most part it did a pretty good job
sadly a few days ago i spilled coffee over the keyboard, and since then i cant get it to boot anymore.
after the spill i shut it down and tried to clean it off as good as i could, without opening up the case.
I started to do some troubleshooting, and hope someone here can help me with that, so that i can fix it, or at least order the proper replacement parts.
I have since opened it up, and noted some coffee stains in the lower shell, but luckily i could not find any on both the boards.
the battery seems to be in order as well, and removing it, closing the jumper and powering from socket produces equivalent results.
the only life sign i can see from the board is a blinking of the orange status light for a while after i (re)connect the flat-band cable to the keyboard
this only happens with the emmc module connected, and the switch enabled. An sd card with an linux image on it alone doesnt allow for blinking, the emmc seems to be necessary for it to occur.
My current theory is that some coffee must have come into the key nipples, shorting them and thus rendering the output unviable, i removed the keyboard from the upper case and tried to wash it as good as possible, it should be dry by know but it didnt help. sadly the keyboard uses a single nipple glued to each key, instead of a silicon mat like most full scale keyboards, so i cant be sure i cleaned it properly.
before ordering a replacement keyboard id like to make sure the mainboard is actually fine, but as the power button is part of the keyboard i dont know how i would be able to test that, is there some other way to power on the board that ive missed?

Naked installer for Pinephone Pro, where after the base is installed I can just choose to install a gui through terminal.
I could've sworn I seen one or barebones or base on github once, now I can't find it.
Reason why is I typically install go with Mobian and then install Plasma over it, but I've got dupelicates of stuff, settings, stores, etc and tinkering around trying to remove the phosh stuff tends to typically make it fall apart and bork the rest of the way.

Hi, I am writing about the PINEPower GAN powerbank, with two usb-c and one usb-a. Would you recommend it for powering a computer and sometimes a PineCil? I read on the internet that it has some overheating problems and sometimes stops charging for a few seconds. Do you know if this is still the case? Please let me know. Thanks.

While I know about the NVMe compatibility matrix and TechPowerup's SSD database has much more info, I am still finding it difficult to find an optimal low-power large (2TB+) SSD.
From what I can determine so far from the SSD database, there are really 2 choices for low-power:
Only the Kingston is listed in the compatibility matrix, with comments are large battery drain. The compatibility matrix shows many other SSD options using less power, such as WD SN520 and Kioxia BG4.
Does the Power State X actually correlate to battery drain? And can it be forced to always disable all the high-powered states?
Something like SK Hynix Gold P31 2TB shows 6.3W (PS0) in the compatibility matrix, but only 3.3W max in the SSD database.
https://www.techpowerup.com/ssd-specs/sk...-2-tb.d443
Which one is accurate? Or are they both accurate and there are old versions which use more power?
