I got several apps, in which menus don't work. E.g. "Feeds" (RSS Reader):

   

The menu is showing, but when tapping on any menu entry, the menu simply disappears. Therefore I can't import an OPML file.

"News Flash" (also RSS Reader) shows exactly the same behaviour:

Currently I'm on Pinephone KDE (Manjaro/Plasma Mobile):

I'm sorry for the poor quality of the screenshot. The fading doesn't seem to work correctly yet, when using the built-in screenshot app.

My name is Seb and i would like to make ringtones , notification sounds anything sound related that comes out of the speakers for the best OS on pinephone Mobian! :-)
Not that i think the default sounds are bad but i think they can be better :-)
I make music/sounds/commercials for 20 years now , i have my own studio and record label , i have time and motivation.

I dont know how to contact the right person. If anyone could help me plz :-)

My audio stopped working today. No sound from the speaker and, if I switch to the earpiece, no sound from that either. Restarting the phone doesn't fix it. I imagine that this is because of a recent update.

Anyone have experience with this and know a way to get it working again?

I would like to understand how double tap to wake feature is implemented here..

Bought 4 Rock64 v 2.0 boards.  Visually, they look identical.  
Objective: 2 clusters, high availability
cluster one - pihole running Armbian
cluster two - NFS server running FreeBSD

I was able to get the Armbian systems working with pihole without issue.

1. On FreeBSD, only one of the 4 boards will recognize the 1-gig ethernet.  The other three boards don't work. I can take the SDCard out of the working machine and place it in any of the other three machines - no ethernet.

2. If I manually downgrade the 1-gig connection to 100 MB, it works.

3. Verified 1-gig works on all four boards under Armbian

4. This led me to believe that a "plug-in" kernel hack is needed to instruct FreeBSD how to properly use this hardware.  I contacted FreeBSD-ARM and FreeBSD-USB forum.  No solution.  They suspect this is a hardware bug.  I asked if their is a software band-aid such as a kernel overlay - no response. No response from the forum typically means everyone was thinking "I don't personally know of a kernel overlay for that, so I'm not speaking up".  No answer typically means no.

5. Tried to OpenBSD/NetBSD - can't even get it installed w/o serial console configuration (which I didn't have on-hand); ---or--- they also experienced the problem and just didn't connect to Ethernet.

Question for Pine64 team and anyone/everyone who reads this:

Can anyone confirm that this is related to: minor differences in hardware, faulty hardware --or-- u-boot misconfiguration, etc..  I just want to put a period on the end of this sentence.  I've worked hard to resolve this and successfully got 1 working; but not the other 3.  All 4 of them run Armbian w/o any issue.  Only 1 will run BSD.

I'm trying to get swmo installed. I've tried by flasing the sxmo edge and 21.06 postmarketOS/sxmo images, logging in, connecting to wifi, cloning https://git.sr.ht/~mil/sxmo-build, then running "./sxmo-build-all.sh --wayland". Everything runs through seemingly fine with no errors. But after I reboot I only get a console login and can't use the phone.

Has anyone gotten this installed and working? Any advice?

I'm planning to order a PinePhone soon. One thing I'd like to have a guarantee of is that the device will be delivered to my door and I'm not asked to go pick it up. To be honest this is mainly due to the whole COVID paranoia going on... let's just say I'm not a fan of the new norm and am not looking to pick fights in mass transit because someone expects me to wear NWO accessories on my face, I prefer staying in my home having little to do with the outside world and only going out to local shops when needed. The problem is that based on my experiences ordering from eBay in the past that some products arrive at a post office in the city center, I often had to go there to pick it up and they'd ask for additional money to be paid upfront, it's very far so there's no way of getting there on foot. I live in Romania, Bucharest (the capital).

Can people from different countries (especially Europe and Romania) share their experience with the delivery process please? Did you receive a notice by mail to go somewhere and pick up the device, or did the mailman bring it at your doorstep as I'm hoping will be the case here? It seems the huge additional shipping fees are calculated when placing an order for the PinePhone on the website (150$ becomes 200$ for this reason) so I'm hoping it includes any and every fee anyone could possibly want.

It lets me use a Bonjour protocol window in Pidgin IM to bridge to the app and send/receive SMSs which is still a useful mode for many users.
I remembered that the KDE team had made a nice app to do a similar bridge for Android phones.
I am guessing that a script and daemon to listen for KDE connect over wifi or bluetooth would not be too difficult.
For heavy SMS users or people wh need to machine translate incoming and outgoing SMSs on a Linux or even Win/Mac computer this might be the closest we can get to ready made requiring not much dev code recycling for client and server.

Does GPS work on a separate chip or is GPS built into the LTE modem?

Been a while since I had my UBPorts image booted up. First thing I did was to do some updates on WiFi then took it out with me. First think I notice it was browsing. Then did some testing. Not even ping. Then doing "ip a" shows it did not even had an IP address. Tried rebooting a couple of times. Same result.

Phone, and SMS functions just fine. Just no internet.

Any ideas?
