| Pinephone pro and consequences for pinephone users |

I have been thinking after the announcement about the new pinephone pro about the consequences the users of the normal pinephone will have. A major concern, in my opinion, is the possibility that a great part of the developers will soon focus on the new pinephone pro. This could leave the normal user with an unfinished product in the hand, at least for some more years.
I am also disappointed by the fact that our pinephone cannot be upgraded. This is very upsetting.
At this point, I would expect at least a discount for the new pinephone pro for the early adopters of the pinephone (braveheart ones). The early adopters supported the project and maybe deserve some recognition.
It would be nice an official answer on this matter.

Is there a patch or anything to get this modem to work correctly? Still new and learning everyday.
Thanks,

Hi all,
I am trying to work with a project on a mobian pinephone that uses sctp. Upon trying to start the sctp socket the operation failed. After checking the list of modules with modprobe it doesnt seem like sctp is present. Does anyone know a way to enable this protocol?
Thank you

I have had a sealed watch a short while.. I can flash firmware using RF Connect. But I am missing information. For each Inifinitime firmware, is there an updated bootloader. For other firmware using the MCU bootloader, where do I find them?
I am thinking of migrating to Wasp-OS for a Star Trek themed face. I see the tutorial but still want to know where other modded firmware can be found?

I have recieved my Pinetime and want to install wasp-os on it. After installing and sucessfully playing around with GadgetBridge I have managed to install the Reloader-mcuboot.zip on the watch. Weirdly enough, after this sucessful install, GadgetBridge can no longer detect my watch and even after trying nRF connect (which connects but does not manage to upload anything).
I can't find much information or info online which details this problem.

I have an HP 25f monitor.
I have Monjaro Plasma on emmc and Mobian Phosh on and SD card, like um both.
When I plug in my keyboard and mouse they work in either OS, but the monitor does not work, I cannot find any settings in my monitor to solve this.
Is it possible to use my computer monitor with pinephone?

| PineTab with keyboard for sale. German (or EU) destinations only [SOLD] |

This PineTab is sold. Thanks for all PMs and all replies
I want to sell my PineTab with attached backlit keyboard and charging cable. Everything I tested works flawlessly. I did not change the ubuntu image (only booted it once), always booted from microsd. Used it for web surfing, youtube, etc. Now I got the Thinkpad X12 Tablet, so not so much need for a second tablet.
Best would be if you could pick it up at my place, then you can check the proper condition of the tablet before buying. If necessary I could send it to German destinations for additional 5€ (or to EU destinations for additional 15€). But I would prefer if you pick it up. Safer and cheaper for you and easier for me. Region: Südhessen, Frankfurt-Heidelberg-Aschaffenburg.
The PineTab is out of stock atm, because of very few available components. It can be read (e.g. [1] or [2]) that it would have to cost more than 50% more atm (upwards of $150+$20 keyboard+taxes+import duties+$35 shipping, altogether roughly $250).
I won't ask for this higher price. I paid:
$119.98 pinetab with keyboard
$35.00 dhl shipping
subtotal pine store $154.98 equalled 136.90€ at time of buying
2.40€ foreign transaction fee
35.28€ import duty/tax
total 174,58€
I would sell it for 150€. If you are interested please PM.
Edit: Sold

Trying to get Maps to work, it is asking me to sign into openstreetmap, I have and account but Maps will not let me login keeps trying to get me to sign up, so I signed up with a new account in Maps but it is still not letting me sign in. Fox Trot does not work at all for me at all.
I have tried this with monjaro plasma, as well as mobian phosh, same results.
If I can get Maps working I have a daily driver!

I just did a system upgrade in manjaro and Maps is giving me a correct location, and directions.
I will have to get in my car to see if it functions but I can get where I am going with what is displayed.
There are scaling issues as in the page spills off of the screen and I cannot see everything.
