but, If your wifi is 'turned-off' it will say 'no wifi found'.

When this happened to me I found that I had accidentally touched the WiFi icon in the top drop-down menu and turned it off.

@b7l3wui26r make sure airplane mode is disabled (you should see it in wifi settings). If nothing helps try restarting the phone. It's probably not the most practical solution, but it works for me when I have wifi issues.
