Struggling to detect Pinetime over bluetooth

I've been following this guide on how to connect my Librem5 to my Pinetime via bluetooth. It's reasonably recent (October 2022) and from the comments it seems to have worked for a number of people.
The issue I am having is I have been unable to detect my Pinetime from my Librem5's bluetooth. I have also been unable to detect the Pinetime from other devices I have like an iPhone.
Is there an obvious step I am missing? Also I don't know a great deal about blue tooth, is there instructions somewhere on how to troubleshoot detection issues with the Pinetime? I feel like I don't know what the right thing to search for to help resolve this is.

I'm trying to build InfiniTime. I can build InfiniSim but when I try to make it to flash to a watch, it has an error.
I've tried everything: copying the src folder from InfiniSim, installing lv_font_conv in a bunch of different directories, running the command in different folders, but I always get this error.
Code: PROJECT_GIT_COMMIT_HASH_SUCCESS? 0
BUILD CONFIGURATION
-------------------
* Mode : Release
* Version : 1.11.0
* Toolchain : ../../gcc-arm-none-eabi-10.3-2021.10
* GitRef(S) : 38092fcb
* NRF52 SDK : ../../nRF5_SDK_15.3.0_59ac345
* Target device : PINETIME
* Debug pins : Disabled
* Build DFU (using adafruit-nrfutil) : Disabled
* Build resources : Disabled
CMake Error at src/displayapp/fonts/CMakeLists.txt:4 (find_program):
Could not find LV_FONT_CONV using the following names: lv_font_conv

Hi Whonix dev here. We are a privacy and anonymity distro project that have been around for a decade and privacy focused open hardware is a big deal for us. Your projects are a fantastic example of what is possible in the FLOSS space.
I'd like to share with you extra research we've been gathering on privacy attacks through clever misuse of hardware so you take this into account when adding hardware switches in future iterations of your products.
They are neatly summarized in the link below, but I will go ahead and mention them here:
* Speakers can be converted into auxiliary microphones to eavesdrop on the user
* accelerometers and gyroscopes may also be abused to reconstruct speech from sound wave vibrations.

PBP Debian 11 GRUB install error

Hi all.
I have a Pinebook pro with SPI tow boot flashed.
I'm trying to install Debian 11 on eMMc from the official stable release. At the end, GRUB installation ends with an error.
After this failure, the installation media stops loading, and I flash it again every time.
I tried installing rEFInd on the ESP partition, but it doesn't seem to work, all drivers say "program has returned 0" and then reboot.
Installing GRUB from chroot doesn't work either.
I know the new release of Manjaro boots in uEFI mode using GRUB, how can I get Debian to do the same?

Audio in Calls no longer functioning

When I first installed Ubuntu Touch many moons ago, the voice in calls was just fine. I really don't use the phones for calls, but I got a call the other day, and noticed then that was no no audio at all.
Upon further testing, I see now there is no audio at all coming to, or being sent from the phone.
Anyone know what has happened?

in Beta 13 the desktop will always be configured with Halycon Layout after a restart and the wallpaper will always default to what beta 13 came with. You can change your settings but after restart they will be gone.

PureTalk work with Pinephone?

Hello all,
I checked before I bought my Pinephone that PureTalk worked, but now I am running into issues registering on the Cell network. And I found a few posts that make me think PureTalk started whitelisting Pinephones.
So is there anyone currently using PureTalk for voice and messaging in the US? Or does anyone know for sure that they blocked Pinephones?
Thanks.
