Hello, I compile u-boot as EGON without SCP, write that to ARCH linux SD media and it works.
Then, I want to build and TOC0 uboot (same without SCP) signed by some random key and trying to boot that. That does not work.

Should it work at all?

Can someone explain why power switch looks made to prevent impossible backfeeding or to operate with AC power input? Why it's not a single P-MOSFET?

Can somebody confirm whether the RockPro64/RK3399 (does not) support(s) PCIe bifurcation?

I've only seen one (unresolved) mention about this on the forum, and other sources (here and here) claim it is not supported on the chipset, but I'd like to see this confirmed: for me this would mean the difference between buying a PCIe adapter with or without a PCIe switch, in turn impacting the price of the adapter significantly.

Use the phone to call someone and they can hear me fine.

Configure and connect the phone to the public network and do a full upgrade from a terminal using

pacman -Suu

Call someone and they cannot hear me.

I would look into it myself but I have other obligations.  I realize that many are working hard on the SW and I expect nothing and appreciate all.
I am just reaching out to see whether someone knows of a package that I should install or ?
Possibly a CODEC or sound driver needs replacing.

when I record any operating system, pinephone does not turn on, neither the led nor the screen lights up.

Tried the killswitch but it doesn't help. Few boots away I had WiFi while I was using my sd card. Now I get no wifi or every boot, no deference if sd card or ssd.

WLAN dongles and bluetooth also not working.


Also /etc/network/interfaces is not existing. And the NetworkManager.conf is empty. And I seem to miss the network manager service... Just freshly installed kde, before that I had xfce, sadly same problem

after being annoyed by the instability of delivered firmware I let my pinephone mature for a while and today, I gave it another try and installed mobian- just because i'm on debian all the time.
I really like that thing now. Having the pinephone-keyboard, I got a cool tiny laptop now.
Sadly, i didn't yet manage to get more than one terminal (on my pc, I never have less than 3 open... mostly more like ten)
Is there any way to do this?

OS on my new pine phone pro explorer: 5.18.0-2-manjaro-arm, pre-installed

i'm new to pine phone and new to manjaro. I'm unsure whether to post the following question here or on the manjaro forum

after starting up the phone it indidatces that there are some updates, when I try to update it says "there was an issue installing this update. please try again later" but i've been trying for a day now (the number of updates remains unchanged as 486). If i click "see technical details" it says "unknown error, unexpected error. I tried to install the Signal app just as a test, and it fails, it says "bad GPG signature found". On the command line i tried to install neofetch but it says "invalid or corrupted package ... errors occurred, no packages were upgraded". So, I haven't succeeded in doing anything. It's a completely new phone, straight out of the box.

i have read the trouble shooting info, and i've watched some videos, but I haven't learned much. Is there somewhere i should be looking for basic troubleshooting info?

I put a new MicroSD cad (class 10, 32GB bought from Pine64 a few days after i bought the phone) into the Pine Phone, executed lsblk and fdisk -l and the card isn't showing up.  The results list only mmcblk2 and zram partitions.  There should be mmcblk0.

Hi all! I have done one screen replacement on the pinephone, then I liquid damaged that screen so I am going to replace it again here. The thing is though that the adhesive to hold the daughter board in place for my pinephone is all messed up. So I was wondering if anyone would have an idea of what kind of adhesive is a suitable replacement for securing the daughter board.
