Just got a v2, and love it. When I run it off of a 20w USB power supply at 9v (over USB-C) or 12v (with USB-C to DC), it runs fine. However, I have two USB power supplies that it can negotiate 20v with (with the DC cable, natch). One of them is a 100w, so it negotiates 20v/5a, and works fine. The other one is a 65w, so it negotiates 20v/3.25a, and once I hit the + to start it warming up, it blinks just for a second, power cycles, and dumps me back to the main menu. 

Seeing as it runs fine negotiating 9v/2a on a 20w channel, and 20w/5a on a 100w channel, I'm not sure why it's choking on 20v/3.25a. This is on the latest stable IronOS firmware, v2.20, with no changes to default settings other than fast scrolling and blinking temp during cooldown. Any ideas?

I inherited a broken pinebook pro with this backstory:

I fired up my Pinebook Pro after having it on the shelf for 2 years. It won’t boot (infinite load graphic), so I tried to reinstall Manjaro Linux on it.  The microsd was very janky.  I opened it up to toggle the emmc switch so it would boot and now it won’t turn on.

The manual has an entry on this troubleshooting, and mentions pressing RESET which did not help.

There is nothing when power on. All LEDs are off, except the charge port LED.

What I tried:

* reset button
* re-enabling eMMC: device turns on, but stuck in infinite boot spinner. Alt-F2 shows empty text screen.
* disconnecting battery, using bypass cable.
* measured barrelplug voltage at 5.4V


Which takes me to my question:

Is the power LED supposed to light up when the device is switched on, with eMMC disabled? Or does the software on the SD card actually have to do this? So far, I tried to turn it on with no SD card seated.

The OsmScoutServer GUI launched.

All Event semms to be good (no error).
Just this log can be a problem.

Hi! Long time PineTime user since 2020, and I've run into a problem that I haven't seen before.

I left my watch to charge in its cradle last night, and I put it on this morning with a full charge. Then I put the watch in my pocket to wash a few things. When I took it back out I noticed it was now on the Infinitime screen with the two triangles, I thought maybe it got bumped somehow and tried holding it down to reset it, still boots to the Infinitime screen. I also tried booting into blue and red modes, and it's still stuck on the same screen. I've tried flashing the firmware using NRFConnect and Gadgetbridge, but even though the device is connected to the phone over bluetooth it will disconnect when trying to update or downgrade the firmware. What's really strange is the PineTime is showing a battery percentage of 18% consistently, when I know it was at 100% before taking it off. The battery should be ok, I've used it for a week before having to recharge it.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Other than this issue the watch has been very reliable. I'm currently running 1.11 "Red Nectarine".

I have a new rockpro64 board, I've installed it in the NAS case with a heatsink, and case fan. Connecting network, hdmi, keyboard, and power, I get a green LED next to the power connector. Then nothing else. Pressing the power button does nothing. Pressing and holding the power button does nothing. I Have a green light on the Ethernet port, and the orange light of the Ethernet port flashes. But no white or red led by the power button. HDMI remains blank. Keyboard does not respond to input (no capslock light). 

I've tried both Debian, and Armbian on the micro sd card. With the same result. 

Am I doing something wrong, or is my board faulty?

I am running KDE (Manjaro + Plasma Mobile) on my Pinephone and I tried everything now to make the modem run properly.
Based on the information of Biktorgj (the-modem-distro) I updated to the newest firmware, I flashed the custom firmware and made the recommended settings. I flashed the recovery. No matter, which firmware is running, on boot and on every suspend (screen goes off after few minutes), the modem gets disabled as the status in 'mmcli -m any' shows. I have to enable it ('mmcli -m any -e') every time I take the pinephone in my hand.
Currently I have the custom firmware installed again and made the settings. The behaviour stays as described.

Is there any advice on this, anything I can try?

I'm trying to get two separate pine64 LTS boards to boot for the first time. Previous troubleshooting attempts here: https://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=17961.

I was hoping to monitor the serial port of each board to find some some helpful errors. I couldn't find a post specifically for the pine64 LTS but I did for the rock64: https://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=5029. I connected to pin 6 (GND <-> GND), pin8 (TX -> RX), and pin10 (RX -> TX). As a sanity check I switched RX and TX to make sure I hadn't mis-connected something. I've tested the serial console on another dev board so I know it's working. I'm on Ubuntu 22.04 and I'm using the following command to read messages:

Somehow Ive been buried in life and missed the info on the pinetab2 until today.

So Ive searched everywhere I can and cant find out what SOC they are planning to use?

I have a pinebook , pinetab and pinebook pro (unsing that now)

Unfortunately my pinetab stopped working a few months back abd havent had a chance to troubleshoot it.

SO Iam very excited abouyt the pinetab 2! Like to be first in line if I could.  But asIm still in a job transition I have to make a smart decision not just an enthusiastuuc one.

Does anhyone know what the SOC or CPU will be?

That would really help me  determine my purchase decision, like to get a pinecil as well, but thats a different conversations eh?

Hi,

just got my Pinebook pro a few weeks ago. I'm having some wifi troubles.

The wifi seems to be working well except it does not show my wifi network. It shows several other networks and I can connect to a hotspot on my phone without problem.
Anyone experiencing similar issues? Any idea what might be causing the adapter to miss a single network?

Some more info:
The router is emitting on both wifi 5 & wifi 4, i.e. there are two wireless networks with different SSID but pinebook pro can't fine either of them.
I'm running Manjaro-ARM 23.02
